Maltese-born, London-living Sarah Harrison caused a seismic shift in the scene when she landed in it in 2012. From previously meeting with music royalty Quincy Jones to working with rap legend Snoop Dogg as a Singer and Producer, who discovered Sarah’s original music on SoundCloud, Harrison’s hustle has always been of a novelty. But her spontaneous mission to become the DJ she is known as today has been the most noteworthy thus far. Her passion for Hip-Hop music, particularly the Trap sound, soon gave her the LadyInTheTRAP trademark which has become an international hook. Her self-titled weekly Wednesday specialist radio show on London’s THE BEAT LDN 103.6 FM has fast elevated. Attracting a wide listenership both in the UK and US, The Sarah Harrison Show prides itself on not just breaking records, but breaking acts across the pond, dropping exclusive tracks and interviews, namely the Platinum certified records ‘No Flex Zone’ and ‘No Type’ by Rae Sremmurd.
In early 2013, Sarah landed the Tour DJ spot for UK Garage pioneers So Solid Crew, and in the latter part of that year, the Official DJ title for UK female MC Paigey Cakey. Sarah Harrison is a name frequently billed on line-ups for popular parties in the city, and has opened for huge acts like The Game and Ciara. A notable trip to Atlanta for The International Music Conference for two years in a row, where she was Host DJ, opened up a corridor of doors, with new transatlantic opportunities currently in development. Over in New York, Sarah found herself on the set of BET 106 & Park and was invited to the Hot 97 studios by Cipha Sounds where she was warmly welcomed by The Hot 97 Morning Show team. And with a feature mix on The Hot 97 Street Team’s The Tape 1.5, let’s just say that this Lady has definitely got people TRAPPED!!
2014 continued to push Sarah Harrison, landing another tour, not just as a DJ but also as a vocalist, with X-Factor finalist Misha B. In the latter part of the year, Nike snapped her up to be an Official DJ for the brand and another successful trip to Atlanta proved another milestone, hosting her own night at popular spot Harlem Nights. But most of her time was spent building solid relationships with the movers and shakers in the game, from V-103′s Greg Street during a session with YMCMB boss Birdman, to sessions with the turn-up King, Future. Not to mention linking up with Mike WiLL Made It and his Ear Drummers camp plus most of Atlanta’s hottest producers and DJs: Bryan Michael-Cox, Jazze Pha, Metro Boomin, Dun Deal, London On Da Track, Sonny Digital, Don Cannon and Trendsetter Sense to name a few. In 2016, Sarah took her hosting talents to Austin, Texas for the annual SXSW festival.
Sarah has since branched into event promotion, heading club night brands like ‘808’ and ‘Unlock’. Continuing with her events ventures, Sarah took her acclaimed radio show to a live venue with a live audience - ‘The Sarah Harrison Show LIVE’ - the first edition featuring Grammy winning artist Eric Bellinger.
Sarah Harrison has officially made her ‘LITT’ stamp, kicking off Summer 16 with an exclusive DJ set at London’s Wireless Festival alongside huge acts like Calvin Harris, Fergie, J Cole, Big Sean, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign and many more.
